Welcome! The College of Nursing and Health Sciences incorporated medium fidelity Human Patient Simulation into the undergraduate curricula in the Spring semester of 2003 and has increased its use every semester since. At present the College uses two Laerdal SimMen 3G's, one Laerdal SimMan, six Nursing Ann's, one Laerdal SimBaby, and two Gaumard Noelle birthing simulators in sophomore through senior levels of the program at two campuses. In addition there are several lower fidelity geriatric and multicultural full body simulators.
In 2012, remodeling provided two new hospital room bays with control and storage space; and an additional staging room for Nursing station and debriefing. Additionally, the capacity to stream simulations to our classrooms and to community partners wanting small goup workshops was added.
