Zorn Arena/Brewer/Kjer Complex

The Zorn Arena/Brewer/Kjer complex includes four adjoining facilities: Zorn Arena, C.J. Brewer Hall, the Earl S. Kjer Theatre and the Campus School building (which houses the university's Children's Center).
With a seating capacity of 3,500, Zorn Arena is the campus venue for a variety of events that attract large numbers of people. Men's and women's intercollegiate athletics events take place in Zorn Arena, as do graduation ceremonies. Many of the university's resident and visiting artists and lecturers make their presentations in Zorn Arena. The facility is named for Willis "Bill" L. Zorn, UW-Eau Claire's former dean of men, director of athletics and head basketball coach.
Brewer Hall is home to the offices of UW-Eau Claire's College of Education and Human Sciences. The building also houses a number of classrooms, as well as the offices for faculty in the departments of curriculum and instruction and foundations of education. It is named for Charles J. Brewer, director of teacher education at UW-Eau Claire from 1916-38.
Kjer Theatre is the venue for a variety of University Theatre productions. It is named for Earl S. Kjer, chair of the university's speech department and director of theater from 1953-65.
The Children's Center is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs. It provides children of students, faculty and staff with a high-quality program that is both affordable and convenient.
