Immersion experience publicity form

The UW-Eau Claire News Bureau wants to share information about your students' immersion experiences with the campus community and others. As far in advance as possible, please complete the following form so we can determine how to best share information about your upcoming immersion project.

Follow up when you return, again using this form, to share information about student experiences as well as any photos.

Are you currently a student or faculty/staff member at UW-Eau Claire?

Enter an abstract/brief description of your immersion program.
Include name of program, time of travel, number of students who will participate, names of faculty involved, and an overview of the program (including goals). We will contact you via email if we need additional information.

Is information related to your immersion program posted on a website?

Will students maintain a blog during the immersion project?
If so, please provide the blog's URL:

Do you or will you have photos related to your immersion experience?
If so, please send them via email to the News Bureau and indicate in the email message that related information was submitted via this form, along with the topic.

Photo-taking tips:

Include students in your photos.
Photos that show students interacting with local people or participating in local life work well.
Take high-resolution photos so they are of print quality. Contact the LTS photo department at 715-835-6005 for more information on capturing high-resolution images.
Provide basic information about who is in and what is happening in each photo so we can write cutlines.
