Jesse is a student coordinator for the Civil Rights Pilgrimage and the acting president of the Student Organization of Latinos. Jesse is also very involved in Blugold Beginnings, and he works in the Center for International Education, along with his job as a campus ambassador.

Jesse said the minute he toured UW-Eau Claire, he knew that this was the place for him. From the beautiful campus, to the amazing academics, to the friendly faces all around campus, Jesse said he knew there was no place that could beat the UW-Eau Claire atmosphere.

Homecoming is Jesse's favorite Blugold tradition because there is so much to do and get involved in during the week. He said it is a great way to meet people and learn more about the history of the university.
