 Better Together Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE —The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student organization Better Together Eau Claire will host a documentary film screening created from the recent 'Engaging Religious Pluralism' Immersion Trip. The screening will take place at 7 p.m. today (May 1) in Room 101 of Hibbard Humanities Hall.

BTEC's mission statement says it's an organization that is "working together to promote unity through cooperation and acceptance of religious or non-religious beliefs and values. Ethnicity, sexuality, faith … we are all human beings."

The 30-minute documentary to screen May 1 will focus on the immersion experience of 46 students working through the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia as a part of the Interfaith Encounters Alternative Spring Break.

Steve Spina, senior lecturer of religious studies, led the trip with the intent to spread the idea of interfaith cooperation.

This documentary screening is free and open to the public.

For more information about the film, contact Johnny Glaunert at glaunejd@uwec.edu or 608-769-6658. For more information about BTEC, contact Steve Spina at spinasj@uwec.edu.
