May 1, 2012 ![]() |
BTEC's mission statement says it's an organization that is "working together to promote unity through cooperation and acceptance of religious or non-religious beliefs and values. Ethnicity, sexuality, faith … we are all human beings."
The 30-minute documentary to screen May 1 will focus on the immersion experience of 46 students working through the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia as a part of the Interfaith Encounters Alternative Spring Break.
Steve Spina, senior lecturer of religious studies, led the trip with the intent to spread the idea of interfaith cooperation.
This documentary screening is free and open to the public.
