Performances for the show are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17-19 and Jan. 24-26, with matinee performances at 2 p.m. Jan. 19 and 26.

Cabaret is an annual show that supports ongoing scholarships for music students at UW-Eau Claire. Since it began in 1978, Cabaret has raised more than $325,000 in scholarship funds. Performances by The Singing Statesmen, Women's Concert Chorale, Concert Choir, Jazz ensembles and the University Symphony Orchestra will be included in the show.

Cabaret XXXV will be accompanied by the Cabaret Orchestra, made up of members of the UW-Eau Claire jazz ensembles, directed by Robert Baca, professor of music, and Dr. Jeffery Crowell, associate professor of music; and the University Symphony Orchestra, directed by Nobuyoshi Yasuda, associate professor of music.

The Concert Choir and The Singing Statesmen are directed by Dr. Gary Schwartzhoff, professor of music. The Women's Concert Chorale is directed by Dr. Alan Rieck, associate professor of music.

Eight student directors are involved in directing the musical variety show: seniors Phil Reilly, Milton; Andrew Steffen, New Richmond; Ryan Simmons, Green Bay; Cassi Schilling, Prior Lake, Minn.; Emily Wermund, Mosinee; juniors Adam Minten, Green Bay and Will Berendsen, Oshkosh; and sophomore Zach Moore, Wind Lake.

A dinner buffet and cash bar will be offered before the Friday and Saturday evening performances in the Dulany Inn of Davies Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the dinner and show must be purchased in advance.
