Foreign language students to offer free classes to area schoolchildren

February 27, 2014

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students enrolled in the university's "Teaching Foreign Languages" course will offer a series of exploratory language classes for elementary school students in grades 1-5 in French, German and Spanish.

Classes will meet from 4:10-4:50 p.m. Thursdays, March 27-May 8, in Hibbard Hall, located at the corner of Park and Garfield avenues on UW-Eau Claire's lower campus.

The classes are free, but registration is required. The deadline to register is March 24; however, early registration is strongly suggested as each class is limited to 12 students.

For more information, contact Dr. Paul J. Hoff, professor of Spanish and foreign language education, at or 715-836-4437.
