Entrepreneurial Training Program now taking applicationsAugust 22, 2014
EAU CLAIRE — UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education is now accepting applications for its Entrepreneurial Training Program that will begin Sept. 23.
The program's 10 sessions are designed to help participants learn the fundamentals of starting and operating a business. Concepts covered include lean start-up, business model canvas, marketing, business management concepts and creating a business plan. Sessions will meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:15 p.m. at the UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education office, 210 Water St., Eau Claire.
The Entrepreneurial Training Program is sponsored by the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center at UW-Eau Claire, which is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. provides tuition assistance of $750 to qualified applicants who complete the program, including the preparation of a written business plan, so the actual cost to participate in the Entrepreneurial Training series is only $250.
